This morning, police contacted us to let us know that a bear was seen near the school. As a precaution, we initiated our shelter in place procedure. This afternoon, the bear was seen on school property and we initiated our shelter in place procedure a second time.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:"arial",sans-serif;">During a shelter and place, all doors are locked so no one is allowed to enter or exit the building, but activities and classes continue inside the school. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:"arial",sans-serif;">I wanted to make sure you had this information. As you know, the safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority.
