Announcements - Tuesday, October 17, 2017http://nss.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/100Announcements - Tuesday, October 17, 2017<ul><li><sub>Anyone interested in learning about the history trip to Europe, there will be a parent and student meeting Tuesday, October 17 at 6:30 pm to 8 in the library.</sub></li><li><sub>Attention potential graduates:  If you have completed a high amount of community service hours, be sure to apply for the TD Community Leadership Scholarship!  For more information, please see the scholarships bulletin board in guidance, or the latest tweets on the Nantyr Guidance twitter feed. </sub></li><li><sub>Attention all female students interested in pursuing a trade, such as automotive service technician, electrician, general carpenter, heavy equipment operator, plumber or welder.  There will be a presentation and workshop next Thursday, October 19th at Nantyr Shores for periods 3 and 4.  This is a great opportunity to hear from a woman who knows first-hand the rewards of a career in the trades.  Please see Ms.Weymark in guidance for more information and to sign up for the Women in Trades Presentation.</sub></li><li><sub>Photo retake day is TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 18. The trip is only $10 to attend, and includes lunch and tons of awesome leadership activities.
