Information for regarding the return to school plan

On July 30, the Premier’s Office announced that all publicly funded schools in Ontario will reopen in September. In the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB), all students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 will return under a conventional school day model subject to cohorting/timetabling considerations, and enhanced public health protocols. As such, SCDSB schools and adult learning centres will reopen to students on the first day of school, September 8, 2020.

New scholarship for graduating secondary students http://nss.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/board-news/128New scholarship for graduating secondary students <div>The Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA) is has created a new scholarship for graduating secondary students. The Public Property Assessment Network Scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 to one recipient in the OPSBA Central East Region. Scholarship recipients are students of strong character, who care deeply for their communities and furthering their own learning.</div><div><br></div><div>Could this be you? The May Court Club of Barrie is pleased to offer again this year Student<strong> Scholarships</strong> <strong>for</strong> students who are graduating from Barrie Secondary Schools and continuing their post-secondary education. There are ten $2000 scholarships available to deserving students in the Barrie area. To be awarded the student must have demonstrated a combination of academic merit, involvement in school and community activities and demonstrate the need for financial support.
