In need of community service hours? Volunteer at the Nantyr Shores Holiday Market Extravaganza! Help is needed the evening of Friday November 30th, and during the event on Saturday December 1st. Interested? Sign up in guidance with the date(s) / time(s) you would be available.


University of Toronto Family Medicine and RVH are partnering with Simcoe County school boards to present "what to expect at medical school". If you or a family member are interested in a future career in medicine, then please join us at Bear Creek Secondary School on Tuesday, November 27th at 6 p.m.  Tests, finances, schedules and more will be discussed first-hand by residents, current med students and the teaching unit of U of T Family Medicine.  See guidance to sign up!

Female students are invited to attend the Skills Work for Women one-day conference, happening on November 20th at the Holiday Inn in Barrie.  During this event, you will learn about career opportunities available through the skilled trades, and hear from women mentors who work in this field.  Spots are limited for this event, and if you are interested, please see guidance for a permission form.  There is no cost to attend, and lunch is provided.  


A reminder to all students with an IEP, to please hand in the signed copy of your IEP as soon as possible.

Attention members of the equity team: The Town of Innisfil would like youth input for the town's Cultural Master Plan. They are here this Wednesday during per 2, and the session is expected to run into the lunch hour. A pizza lunch will be provided. If you would like to be a part of this opportunity, please see Mrs. Lapenskie in the library during the afternoon.


This is the last call for anyone interested in attending the Fleming College and Trent University trip on Nov. 15th. We will be visiting 2 of the most popular post-secondary environmental programs in Ontario for mock lectures and campus tours, exclusive to Nantyr students. Please see Mr. Gaynik in room 239 or 240 for forms and details. $20 to attend. Any Boys interested in playing for the Nantyr Shores School Hockey team, there will be an important meeting Today at lunch hour in room 232. If you cannot attend please see Mr. Novakovich in room 232.


Attention all potential graduates: If you are considering applying to University, there will be application training sessions running Today and Thursday in guidance at lunch.  We encourage you to join us for one of these sessions and learn about the application process, as well as pick up your PIN letter.  PIN numbers are needed to apply.
