STIGMA

Did you know that stigma limits people from asking for help?

Stigma is a mark of shame. People with substance issues are stigmatized, negatively impacting the way they feel and how others see them.

How can you fight against stigma?

•            Educate yourself about substance use

•            Become aware of your attitude, language and behavior and challenge those of others

•            And practice compassion
