Welcome to the new students to Nantyr Shores this semester.
We have a group of students that have signed up to be a connection for you as you get settled in at Nantyr. If you are new and would like to get connected with some of these students, come down to guidance at lunch any day this week and we will get you connected. Students that have signed up for this group, keep your ears open at lunch in case your name is called to guidance to help out.
We're back this week with our Triton's of the Week. This semester we are focusing on finding students who display kindness, leadership, achievement and school spirit. We had lots of nominees this week so would the following 9 students please come down to the main office at the beginning of period two to collect they yet award! Maya, Eylem, Nick, Kim, Megan, McKayla, Quinn, Charlotte and Melanie. Your efforts were noticed and we appreciate what you do! Remember Tritons, we are doing this EVERY WEEK so remember to show us how AWESOME you can be!
If you are good at math and science and would like to tutor other Nantyr students in these subjects, please come to guidance. We are always looking for students to help other students. It looks great on a job application, University/College application and you will also earn community service hours.
