You be You! Co-op Can Help!
Cooperative Education is designed to provide an opportunity to achieve high school credits while working
in the community. Co-operative Education is typically scheduled as a 2 credit (half day) or a 4 credit (full day) course. The Cooperative Education teacher and student work together to find a suitable placement that matches the interests, strengths and wants of the student. Co-op encourages students to discover possible career paths they may pursue after high school graduation.
Co-op can also launch students into the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) allowing them to begin an apprenticeship while in high school.

Nantyr Shores Co-op Education - What is Co-op
Cooperative education is a course designed to provide an opportunity to achieve a high school credit while working in the community. It must be based on a related course (or courses) from an Ontario curriculum policy document or on a ministry-approved locally developed course in which the student is enrolled or which he or she has successfully completed.
