Our Mathematics Department is committed to helping students learn and understand math fundamentals. We strive to show students how math applies in our daily lives-and how fun math can be. An understanding of math can help students make sense of the world around them. It's a requirement for various post-secondary options.

HELP SESSIONS

The Nantyr Shores S.S. Mathematics Department will be making available a Mathematics EXTRA HELP Program for any student who wishes to improve their performance during Semester 1. Teachers are available on designated days and of course, if you have any concerns, you should be speaking to your teacher to set up time for extra help outside of the designated time.

This is open to all students. During this time, you are to work on your homework, work on previous tests or quizzes or study for an upcoming test and get assistance from your teacher.

MATH HELP SCHEDULE

NOTE: Teachers will be available at the above stated times. HOWEVER, at times, teachers will have a supervised duty so they may not be available. Speak to your teacher as to when an alternative time is needed or ask any other available math teacher.
